Picture was shot in total darkness using a handheld flashlight with a blue plastic bottle taped on the end with black tape. I left the flash open for 5 seconds and pulled the bottle out of my mouth and straight up. I really like the effect. It's almost like my soul is being sucked right from my mouth!

prepare to evacuate soul! actually soul being sucked out was the first thing that came to mind! this is excellent trick-photograhy! the fact that its actually a photo makes it all the better!

I was doing a paint with light challenge for another site, and wanted to do something different. I just stumbled across it and WAH-LAH! Glad you like it :)

Thanks, it was a real challenge that is for sure! I took over 300 photos of this pose and another that I am going to post. It took me 2 nights and lots of water (got thirsty from having my mouth open so long! LoL) I am glad they came out as well as they did.... it was worth all the work!

Thank you.... no it was actually an old Clinique (make-up cleaner) bottle. Funny thing is, the only thing done in photo shop, was crop and resize - the rest is direct from the camera! :)
